A fifth-generation native of the California Bay Area, Casey focuses his efforts on the principles of good governance by exploring what theoretical concepts about government may mean in a practical sense, including how government is best applied in real-world situations.
Casey has extensive experience with all levels of government, with an emphasis on local, regional, and tribal governments, as well as non-profit administration. Casey's expertise in government administration prioritizes decision-maker responsibility, prudent financial management, data-driven analysis, and the development and application of modern public policy. His focus areas include public safety, land use, transportation, public finance, and various elements of labor and employment law.
Casey prides himself on improving public officials’ ability to innovate and enhance community change, including specifically on issues of social significance in a contemporary world.
Casey’s academic credentials include a Master’s degree in Urban Planning, a Master’s degree in Public Administration, and a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science. Casey is also currently enrolled in law school.
